A MUGHAL MINIATURE PAINTING OF RADHA AND KRISHNA India, 19th/20th century Watercolor and gold on paper, framed and under glass. 25.2x44.5 cm with frame. The painting depicts Krishna and Radha seated on a dais with large group of female attendants in courtyard as well as woods and royal buildings as background. With traces of age, partially damaged and loss of color. Provenance: From the collection of the German Indologist Hermann Jacobi (1850-1937), acquired as a present in India in the early 20th century, then by descent within the family.
