A WOOD LACQUERED SEATED FIGURE OF BUDDHA Burma, 19th century Wood. H. ca. 52.5 cm. The shan buddha is seated on a raised base, with right hand in bhumisparsha mudra and the left resting on lap. With traces of age, damaged and cracked. Provenance: From an old private collection in Rhineland.
