Description
A CARVED CINNABAR LACQUER 'FIGURAL' BOX AND COVER China, Qing Dynasty Lacquerware. D. 11 cm, H. 4.5 cm. The box is finely carved with the scene of 'Lan Ke Ren'. The sides of the box carved with a flowerhead diaper ground, the interior and base lacquered black. With traces of age and use, partially cracked, abraded and restored.
