A TURQUOISE FIGURE OF TARA ON AN INLAID SILVER PEDESTAL China, early 20th century Silver/gemstones. H. 24.4 cm. The turquoise figure of tara stands on a lotus base with nimbus, all on a on a quadrilateral pedestal made of silver. The whole statue is fully decorated with inlaid gemstones, including turquoise, lapis lazuli, coral, rubies. With traces of age, partially damaged or deformed. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
