A BRONZE FIGURE OF GUANDI China, Ming Dynasty Bronze. H. 24 cm. Guandi is seated on a tall throne with his hands resting on his thighs, wearing a long robe adorned with incised cloud motifs. His face bears a fierce expression, framed by a well-groomed beard, and his hair is gathered and concealed beneath a cloth cap. With traces of age and gilding, partially damaged.
