A BRONZE FIGURE OF SEATED BUDDHA SHAKYAMUNI Thailand, 18th/19th century Bronze. H. 16 cm. The Buddha is seated in dhyanasana atop a pedestal, his right hand in bhumisparsha mudra and his left resting in his lap, wearing a sanghati draped over his left shoulder. With traces of age, partially abraded, damaged and restored. Provenance: From a private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
