A BRONZE FIGURE OF KASHYAPA China, Ming Dynasty Bronze. H. 26.7 cm. The figure Kashyapa, cast standing on a pedestal, with the left hand grasping the right in front of the chest. Dressed in a kasaya. The face rendered with characteristically furrowed and voluminous brows. With traces of age, partially abraded, minor damage to the base.
