A GREY SCHIST FIGURE OF BUDDHA SHAKYAMUNI Pakistan, in the style of the 2nd/3rd century Schist. H. 21.8 cm (with base). The Buddha is seated with legs crossed on a pedestal, his right hand in abhaya mudra and his left holding part of his monastic garment covering both shoulders; his face displays a serene expression, and his hair is arranged in an ushnisha. The figure is mounted on a wood stand. With traces of age, partially damaged and restored.
