Description
A FINE WHITE JADE HANGING LATERN WITH CHIAN China, 19th/20th century Jade. H. ca. 36.5 cm (58 cm with mounting). The lantern is finely carved in openwork and decorated with pendants, along with a gourd-shaped cover. It is mounted in a wooden and glass display case. With traces of age, slightly cracked. Provenance: From an old private collection in the Lower Rhine region (Niederrhein).
