Description
AN IMITATION BRONZE-GLAZED ARCHAISTIC 'TAOTIE' ZUN VASE China Porcelain. H. 15.3cm. The shoulders of this vase are flanked with four taotie handles, which are connected by a circle of chi-dragons. Finely decorated to the body with taotie masks. The form is modeled after Shang and Zhou period bronzes. The vessel are covered with an inmitation bronzed-glazed. On the bottom is a mark "Qianlong nian zhi". With traces of use.
