AN IRON TSUBA (SWORD GUARDS) Japan, 18th/19th century Iron. H. 7.5 cm. The tsuba is of marugata shape, finely worked in sukashi, and signed "Goshu Hikone Ju, Mogarashi Nyudo Soten Sei". With traces of age. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
