Description
A BRONZE PHURBU China (Tibet) Bronze. H. 34.5 cm. The phurba has blade issuing from the jaws of a makara, connected to the central section in the form of a vajra, surmounted by the three-headed Hayagriva. With traces of use, partially damaged. Provenance: From a private collection in Tyrol, acquired directly from Sangha from Tibet in the second half of the 20th century.
