A PAIR OF GOLD LACQUERED WOOD 'PRUNUS AND MAGPIE' RELIEF PANELS China, 19th/20th century Wood. Ca. 74.5x12.5 cm. Each panel is carved with magpies on prunus branches and the god of wealth below, the surface is painted in gold lacquer. With traces of use and age, partially abraded and damaged. Provenance: From an old private collection in Düsseldorf.
