AN IVORY NETSUKE OF A RECLINING OX WITH A BOY Japan, 18th/19th century Ivory. L. 6.3 cm. The netsuke is finely carved as a reclining ox with a boy climbing on its back. The base signed 'Tomotada', carved by Garaku. With traces of age and use, partially cracked.
