AN IVORY NETSUKE OF A RECLINING OX WITH A BOY Japan, 18th/19th century Ivory. L. 6.3 cm. The netsuke is finely carved as a reclining ox with a boy climbing on its back. The base signed 'Tomotada', carved by Garaku. With traces of age and use, partially cracked. CITES marketing certificate is available.Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
