AN IVORY MANJU NETSUKE DEPICTING KAN'U Japan, 19th century Ivory. D. 5.7 cm. The manju netsuke finely depicts Kan'u riding a galloping horse, holding his halberd in one hand. Signed 'Kosai Moritoshi', with a 'kakihan' on the reverse. With traces of age and use. CITES marketing certificate is available.Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
