A CANTON IVORY BRISE FAN China, 19th/20th century Ivory, framed and under glass. L. 63 cm with Frame. The Cantonese fan features two ivory guards, showing everyday scenes with various people. The hand-painted leaves display various figures with ivory inlaid faces. With traces of age. CITES marketing certificate is available.Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
