Description
A LARGE SEATED BUDDHA JAMBUPATI Myanmar, 19th/20th century Wood. H. ca. 64 cm. The Buddha is coated with gilding and red lacquer. The decorated and crowned Buddha sits in the Maravijaya posture on an ornamental pedestal. His crown is adorned with a large flame. With traces of age, partially cracked, damaged and probably restored.
