 Description  
 	
	A CARVED CINNABAR LACQUER RUYI SCEPTER China, Qing Dynasty Lacquerware. L. 43 cm. The scepter is finely carved with auspicious animals such as bats and deer, as well as peaches, pine trees, and lotus flowers, adorning the ruyi-shaped head, arched terminal, and end panel. The reverse side is delicately carved with swastika patterns. With traces of age, partially damaged and restored.
