AN IVORY CARVED NETSUKE OF A HOTEI Japan, late 18th century Ivory. H. 7.7 cm. The netsuke is carved as a laughing Hotei standing on one foot and carrying a bag on his back. With traces of use and age, partially cracked. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community.
