A FINE WOOD CARVED NETSUKE OF TWO DOGS Japan, 18/19th century Wood/ Bone/ Antler/ Metal. L. 7.5 cm. This netsuke is carved as two dogs with inlaid eyes, one of which has a gold neck collar with "taikin" signed on it. The bottom of the other dog features a signature. Additionally, a small carved plate made of bone or antler is pasted on the other side of the netsuke. With traces of use and age.
