A FINE WOOD CARVED KARAKURI NETSUKE Japan, 19th century Wood. H. 5 cm. The exterior is carved from dark wood in the shape of a peach, which opens in half to reveal a finely carved figure of Kan'u. There are two signatures "Masatsune", one on the bottom and the other on the side. With traces of use and age, partially abraded and damaged.
