A BLUE AND WHITE 'DOUBLE DUCK' WATER DROPPER AND COVER China, Ming Dynasty Porcelain. L. ca. 13 cm. The vessel is modelled as a pair of Mandarin ducks side-by-side with heads turned to the left carrying a lotus leaf as cover. With traces of age and use, partially damaged or restored. Provenance: From an old private collection in Düsseldorf.
